DAVE ASPREY SIGNATURE SERIES
The Aegis Collection.
Dave Asprey's signature frame. Full titanium construction, foldable side shields for complete peripheral coverage, and three precision lenses calibrated to your circadian rhythm.
"I built these because nothing else cut it. Every detail in this frame, I chose myself. The titanium. The shields. The lenses. Blocking junk light halfway is the same as not blocking it at all."

Form follows biology.
Blocking junk light from one direction solves half the problem. The Aegis frame covers both. Every spec chosen by Dave Asprey.
Every detail serves the protocol.
Full Titanium
Full premium titanium. Dense, color-stable, built for all-day wear without the weight penalty.
FOLDABLE SIDE SHIELDS
Peripheral junk light hits your biology just like direct light. These fold flat. No excuse to leave them off.
145MM ARMS
145mm. Fixed hinge. Titanium accent finish. Stays locked in place from morning through your last screen.
PRECISION POLYCARBONATE
Polarized. Scratch-resistant polycarbonate. Three tints, each calibrated for a different window of your circadian rhythm.
19MM BRIDGE
19mm bridge. 149mm total width. 50mm frame height. Fixed hinge. Engineered to sit right, all day.
SIGNATURE PACKAGE
Hardshell case, cleaning cloth, and Dave's founding card. In every box. Because the unboxing is part of the protocol.
The Aegis, three ways.
Junk light hits your biology differently at different times of day. Each lens the Aegis comes in blocks exactly what your circadian rhythm needs blocked, right now.
-
DAYLIGHTS®
Junk light tells your brain to stay wired. Daylights Aegis cuts that signal and keeps you sharp. -
SUNSETS™
After dark, junk light tells your brain it's still midday. Sunset Aegis cuts that signal and lets melatonin do its job. -
TWILIGHTS
Maximum protection. 99% junk light blocked. EEG data shows it shifts your brain toward sleep.
One system. Full Circadian control.
Your circadian rhythm runs on light signals. TrueDark maps a precision lens to each window of your day. Used together with the Aegis frame, nothing gets through.
Daylights: The Science
During the day, screens and artificial light flood your eyes with blue wavelengths your brain was never meant to handle for hours on end. You don't feel it happening. You just feel tired, distracted, and wired by the end of the day.
Daylights lenses filter out the junk while letting in the wavelengths your brain actually needs to stay sharp. The result is less strain, more focus, and a biology that stays on track from morning to evening.
Sunsets: The Science.
After dark, screens and LEDs keep sending your brain the same signal it gets at noon. Your body doesn't know it's supposed to slow down.
Sunsets lenses filter the wavelengths that carry that daytime signal. Slip them on after sunset and something shifts. The room feels calmer. Your mind follows. Your body starts doing what it was always meant to do at this hour.
Effortless, precise, and built around how your biology actually works.
Twilights: The Science
At night, your brain needs complete darkness to shift from an alert state to a sleep-ready one. But most of us never give it that signal. The lights stay on, the screens stay running, and melatonin never gets the cue to rise.
TrueDark Twilights block 99% of blue, green, and violet light, giving your brain the darkness signal it's been waiting for. EEG tested to shift brainwaves from wired to calm to sleep-ready within minutes. Slip them on 30 minutes before bed.
Three lenses. One protocol.
The details are in the frame. The results are in the sleep. Both speak for themselves.
FAQs
The Aegis is a full titanium frame, Dave Asprey's signature design, built for all-day wear. Titanium is stronger than standard eyewear metals, hypoallergenic, and corrosion-resistant. It won't warp, won't absorb oils, and sits better on the face over time. Frame width 149mm, bridge 19mm, arm length 145mm.
Every Aegis includes a hard-shell carrying case and a microfiber cleaning cloth. The case is sized to fit the frame with side shields deployed, so nothing gets compressed in your bag.
Most premium frames use acetate because it's easier to work with. Titanium is harder to machine but the result is a frame that's lighter, stronger, and built to last. It won't absorb oils, won't warp in heat, and is hypoallergenic, which matters when you're wearing it all day. Dave Asprey specified full titanium because it was the only material that met every requirement without compromise.
Yes. The Aegis is designed to fit medium to wide face shapes, with a 149mm total width and 19mm bridge. The matte black and titanium accent finish reads as a clean, minimal tool rather than a fashion frame, so it works across genders and settings.
The side shields hinge flush against the frame and fold flat when you don't need them. When deployed, they close off peripheral exposure so junk light can't reach your eyes from the sides or above. It's protection that most people don't realise they're missing until they wear it.
Each is its own complete pair, calibrated for a different window of your circadian rhythm. Daylights filter the junk wavelengths that cause daytime fatigue while keeping you sharp, blocking 75% of junk light. Sunsets cut blue and violet light after dark, protecting your brain for sleep without ending your evening. Twilights deliver maximum protection, blocking 99% of junk light. The same Aegis frame across all three.
None of TrueDark's glasses are intended for driving. Although Daylights feature photochromic lenses that automatically darken in sunlight to block 99% of UVA/UVB rays, they are not recommended for driving as they alter color perception. Twilights in particular should never be worn behind the wheel as the deep red lens significantly reduces brightness and shifts color perception. When it comes to driving, keep your eyes unprotected.
It depends on when you need protection most. If you spend long hours under artificial light or screens during the day, start with Daylights. If you struggle to wind down in the evening or find yourself on screens after dark, Sunsets are your bridge between day and sleep. If your main issue is falling asleep or staying asleep, Twilights are built for that. For complete circadian protection, all three work together as a system, each covering a different window of your day.
