Daylights

When: Mid-morning to early evening.

Where: Great for heavy screen use and in artificially lit environments like offices, airports, stores, and events. Transition lenses are meant for brief outdoor use. For optimal circadian support, allow some natural sunlight exposure while outside.

Why: Supports energy and focus by filtering fatigue-causing junklight wavelengths while letting in beneficial light.

Sunsets

When: Early evening from sunset, up to 30 minutes before bedtime.

Where: Use under household lighting as you shift into evening mode and ease into your nighttime routine. Perfect for screentime after dark.

Why: The red-tinted top blocks up to 99% of junklight from overhead sources, while the lighter yellow bottom keeps your vision clear so you can still move through tasks with ease.

The Two-Lens Protocol

Daylights filter the blue light frequencies from screens and LEDs that cause eye strain and cortisol disruption during the day. Sunsets pick up where Daylights leave off, blocking the blue and green wavelengths in the 480 to 550nm range that suppress melatonin after dark. Together they give your body accurate light signals from your first screen to your last light.

Daylights Lenses Block 75% of Junk Light

Yellow lens targets the blue light frequencies from screens and LEDs that cause eye strain and cortisol disruption, while letting in the beneficial wavelengths your brain needs to stay alert.

How It Works

A balanced light system designed to support energy during the day and better sleep at night.

MORNING & DAYTIME

Reduces eye strain from long hours on screens

Minimizes discomfort and sensitivity to artificial light

Supports lasting focus and less daytime fatigue

Encourages a natural balanced circadian rhythm

EVENING & NIGHT

Shifts brainwave activity into sleep ready mode

Blocks maximum junklight to help fall asleep quickly

Shields eyes from harsh light during night waking

Resets rhythm for deep, restorative overnight sleep

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, briefly. Daylights Transition glasses have photochromic lenses that transition into sunglasses, providing UV400 protection. However, these lenses were designed to prioritizes indoor circadian support.

Many users with photophobia or light-triggered headaches find relief by reducing exposure to fatigue-causing wavelengths.

Yes. Each lens plays a unique role in the full system.

Daylights filter 75% of blue light, protecting you from screens and overhead lighting while still letting in the healthy blue you need for daytime energy and focus.

Sunsets use a gradient lens that blocks 93% of blue & violet and 99% of green light. The darker red top shields you from harsh overheads, while the lighter yellow bottom keeps vision clear for evening tasks.

Twilights go further, blocking 99% of blue, green, and violet light. EEG testing shows they shift your brainwaves into a rested state within minutes, helping you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Together, Daylights keep you sharp, Sunsets ease you into rest, and Twilights deliver deep, restorative sleep.

Junk light is the artificial light blasting from screens, LEDs, and overheads at the wrong time of day. Your brain treats light like a signal—and junk light sends the wrong one. It tells your body “it’s still daytime,” even late at night. The result? Junk sleep, junk energy, junk focus, and a biology that’s constantly out of rhythm.

Wear Daylights after getting some natural sunlight in the morning. Aim for about 30 minutes of daylight first—then use Daylights to block junk light from screens, LEDs, CFLs, and other artificial sources throughout the day.

It’s a myth that you should block all blue light. Your brain needs some blue wavelengths during the day to stay alert and energized. Cheap glasses that block 100% can actually leave you groggy, while weak ones don’t filter enough of the harmful spectrum. Daylights target only the disruptive wavelengths (380–500nm), while still letting in the beneficial light that supports focus, mood, and energy.

Important Note: Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while wearing. Avoid activities that may be impacted by becoming tired, a change in depth perception, or changes on the color spectrum.

These are best for early evening. Wearing them during the day could block energizing light your brain needs to stay sharp.

Sunset lenses are for the transition hours—they block less than Twilights so you can still function while prepping for sleep.

TrueDark Sunsets work best in the early evening—about 30 minutes to 2 hours before bed. You can still read, use screens, or go through your nightly routine while your brain shifts into rest mode. By the time you hit the pillow, you're primed for faster, deeper sleep.

TrueDark Sunsets are ideal for managing time zone shifts while traveling. They’re also helpful in northern regions where it stays light late into the night. The lenses simulate early evening darkness, helping your brain ramp up melatonin and prepare for rest.
